Software Logic proves once again, any form, anywhere, anytime...

Software Logic was recently asked by one of their existing clients (healthcare giant Wyeth Pharmaceuticals) to examine a form that is regularly received via fax from one of their largest wholesale clients. The form, used for product orders, was a standard mainframe driven report that is automatically churned out of the wholesaler's internal ordering system. The report is automatically faxed from various distribution centers to Wyeth Pharmaceutical's Customer Service Division for further review and processing. The report was given to Software Logic's document management team who spent approximately a morning scanning in the document and dropping Optical Character Recognition (OCR) fields onto the electronic image and Voila!!! Software Logic showed that with minimal development time and a little creativity that any form can be converted to "information and data" valuable to accelerating the process of information retrieval, analysis, and processing.

Software Logic continues to demonstrate that capturing data (in any format) and eliminating the inefficiencies in the process will significantly increase value add and provide for the fastest possible return on investment for its clients.
